Details: In Hyde Park, MA, Boston Pickle Club offers 7 indoor courts, open daily with free parking available. It’s a convenient location for those in the Boston area, with easy access via the commuter rail (Hyde Park station) or a short drive from other parts of the city. Parking is free and abundant, making it an accessible spot.

3. PKL Boston

Details: Located in South Boston, PKL is a lively venue offering pickleball, events, and social activities like trivia and live music. It’s easily accessible by public transportation, with the Red Line at Broadway Station just a short walk away. It’s perfect for a night out with friends and a great spot to host events and corporate meetings. Did we mention they have live music and host trivia nights?!

4. Somerville YMCA

Details: The Somerville YMCA is a great spot for beginners, offering indoor pickleball courts during open gym hours for members and non-members to play. It’s well-connected to public transit, just a short walk from the Alewife-bound Red Line at Alewife or Davis Station. You can easily hop on the T to get there!

5. Bosse Sports - Hyde Park

Details: With 4 indoor courts, Bosse Sports in Hyde Park offers a solid option for year-round play. It’s a short drive from downtown Boston with plenty of parking in their large lot. While you’re there, be sure to check out Sensa Padel and sign up for some of their events!

6. JCC of Greater Boston

Details: The JCC in Newton features 6 indoor pickleball courts in a community-focused setting. While public transportation to this area can be a bit trickier, you can take a bus from the Riverside Green Line stop, or it’s an easy drive from other parts of Boston.

7. Bosse Sports - Natick

Details: Bosse Sports in Natick is one of the largest and newest pickleball centers in the area, with 21 indoor courts, courtside service, a sports lounge, and a café. It’s a bit farther from Boston, but accessible via the Natick Commuter Rail station or a quick drive. Free parking is available.

8. Oak Square YMCA

Details: Located in Brighton, the Oak Square YMCA is a community-oriented space for pickleball enthusiasts, with indoor courts available for members and guests. Non-members can purchase a pickle pack for $50 which gives you 5 visits to the pickleball courts. It’s easily accessible by the 57 or 64 bus routes from the Boston area or a quick drive from downtown.

Details: Club Volo offers a unique outdoor pickleball experience right in the heart of the bustling Assembly Row complex. Located next to shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues, it’s an ideal spot to grab a bite before or after your game. The venue features 4 outdoor pickleball courts and is easily accessible by public transportation.


2. Pickleball Social Club - Harpoon Brewery

Details: Situated in the Seaport District, Pickleball Social Club at Harpoon Brewery combines sports and craft beer for a fun and social experience. The outdoor courts are available to reserve, and the location boasts 4 pickleball courts. Nets are provided for scheduled play, so you can just show up with your paddle and enjoy! After your match, don’t forget to relax with a cold brew from Harpoon Brewery and enjoy views of the harbor.


3. Lawn on D

Details: Known for its large public space and vibrant atmosphere, Lawn on D offers 2 outdoor pickleball courts alongside its other activities like giant games, art installations, and live events. Lawn on D regularly hosts fun, interactive events like outdoor concerts and movie nights, so there’s always something exciting going on before or after your pickleball match.


4. Jamaica Plain Pickleball

Details: Nestled in the green space of Jamaica Plain, this community-run pickleball setup offers 2 outdoor courts for all skill levels. The courts are located at Jamaica Pond, a peaceful area where you can enjoy nature after your game. Accessible by bus or a short walk from the Orange Line’s Stonybrook Station, these courts are free to use, but you'll need to bring your own net.


5. Victory Field

40 Orchard Street, Watertown, MA 02472

Details: Located in Victory Field Park, this spot in Watertown offers 2 outdoor pickleball courts that are open to the public. Victory Field is easily accessible via bus routes from Alewife or Watertown Square. The courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and you’ll need to bring your own net for casual play.


6. Pequossette Playground Tennis Courts

Details: Pequossette Playground in Belmont offers a great spot to play pickleball on 2 outdoor tennis courts converted for pickleball use. This neighborhood gem is easily accessible by bus or a short drive from Cambridge and surrounding areas. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to bring your own net.

On the roof of one of the area’s most iconic buildings, this hidden gem features 2 outdoor pickleball courts with incredible views of the city skyline.
