Meet our founder 

Michelle started playing tennis at an early age longing to be better than Steffi Graf and Martina Hingis, but coming significantly short. Fast forward to 2023 when she felt trapped repeatedly using the same mediocre pink overgrip. Where were the fun and cool patterns? Where was the opportunity for self expression?

Michelle sought after finding some classic (but fun!) prints to kick off the first set of the match. A fashion-lover herself, she wanted to find patterns that made everyone feel confident on the court and offered the flexibility to find a print that speaks to you! After a few long months of designing, researching, and planning, Funky Ace was born.
